Terms and Conditions*DVD Quality At Memories4ever.com.au, we use the highest quality media for its best performance during its lifetime - rendering uniterrupted highly accurate replays and better format compatibility on a variety of DVD players available in the market. We have incorporated the best and the latest hardware and software in order to ensure that the reproduced audio-visual quality will not be compromised in the process of making the DVD. Please Note: Though, no digitising process can increase the resolution of a n audio/video but optional enhancement effects can be introduced during the editing process to provide you with great audio visual effects and features. This adds new multimedia dimensions to your precious recordings. We offer a complete video editing service in our "Premium Package" option. DVD Compatibility We guarantee that our DVDs comply with the standards of all new generation DVD players, i.e. DVD-R or DVD+R (constitute about 95%). The remaining 5% DVD players, usually older ones, can be Hollywood Style or with other uncommon compatibilities and we can replicate your DVDs to match their format. Please ensure that you have included the DVD player details in the Order Form. Our guarantee is void if you choose not to supply your DVD player Brand Name and Model Number. Memories4ever.com.au
offer a full warranty on your DVD functionality. We will refund your money
in full (less the postage) in the event your DVD does not work. You will
need to send the DVD back to us. Audio Length & Quality The process of Audio CD creation can not add any new frequencies to the existing frequency response of your tape recordings. The audio editing process can only enhance the audible effects by filtering the undesired frequencies, equalising and normalising frequencies to achieve the best performance. The end result can be amazingly pleasing to the ears with added new dimensions to your old recordings. We encourage you to make us aware of your choices in the Order Form. The audio CD can only hold upto the first 80min of your chosen audio. The remaining audio will be put on the a next CD at the cost of "new CD compilation under your chosen service" (unless otherwise specified in your Order Forms). We suggest you to estimate the length of your audio prior to filling in the Order Forms. Enhancements: The enhancements instructions in the Order Form filled in by the client will only be used as a guideline for suggestive audio quality improvement. However, the degree of a particular effect/enhancement actually applied to the piece of audio will be subject to the judgement of our staff to optimise the quality of the product outcome. This policy is implemented in the best interest of the majority of our customers. Photo Quality and Size The photos in the slideshows will be preserved as original, unless otherwise opted by the customer. We maintain the original aspect ratio and the colours of all your photos. Optionally, we can enhance them by optimising the colours and lighting effects and resizing them for uniformity. Please make sure to tick on appropriate options in the Order Form. Background Music If we buy background music for your DVD Slideshows and Videos from a third party, we incur an extra expense. We charge additional fees as detailed in our Pricing page. We do not guarantee the availability of any such music and will inform you by email or telephone in case we are unable to procure it from the third party. In that case, it will be your responsibility to supply us the music or do not opt to have a background music on your DVD. We can also extract music from an audiocassette supplied by you at a minimal cost. Please refer to our Pricing page for cost details. Security We take an extra care with your valuable collection by securely keeping a digital backup for a 30 day period from the date we ship your order back to you. This ensures that you have not lost anything even in the case of the courier truck losing its load or any other misadventure. We send you an email confirmation when the goods are shipped. We can supply you a second digital copy of your order at your shipping cost within that 30-day period if you send us a proof of the non-delivery of the goods. We destroy all the backup after this designated period, however, if you don't want us keep the security backups after shipping, please indicate by marking the appropriate choice in the Order Form. Privacy & Confidentiality Your recordings (audio and video) are not viewed by any of our staff members during the transfers however, a short clip can be viewed occasionally for the quality control requirements. Customer information will be treated in strict confidentiality and will not be voluntarily disclosed to any third party. Terms of Payment Like any other goods and service provider, we accept full and final payment at the time of delivery of your order. However, if a postal delivery is arranged, we will send you an email or call you when your order is completed. At this point, we will request you to make the full payment using the options given on Payments page. Once the funds are cleared and we have received the payment in our nominated financial institution, we will ship the goods to you by registered post. In the event of any problem while playing the DVD/CD in your DVD/CD player send it back to us within 2 weeks time and we guarantee to redo your work using a format compatible to your player or to mitigate any defects in the product. If this still does not work or you are not satisfied, we will refund all money except the postage upon receiving the DVD/CD back from you. The Periodic Discounts The discounts offered by the business from time to time apply to the services ONLY. The "Minimum Spent" however remains the same as listed in the "Pricing" page.
